Ekiti Youths Form Coalition ahead of June 18 Governorship Election

Youths in Ekiti State have formed a coalition that will engage various politicians seeking elective positions in the state.

The decision was reached during  the general meeting of youth groups in Ekiti states held on the 20th April, 2022.

The groups to form the Coalition of Ekiti youth groups and convene the Ekiti youth townhall are

1. Ekiti Youth Parliament (EYP)
2. Ekiti Future Agenda (EFA)
3. Coalition of Nigerian Youths on Security and Safety Affairs (CONYSSA)
4. Young Voters and Mobilizers Association of Nigeria (YVAMAN)
5. Nigeria Association of Uniform Volunteers Organisation (NAUVO)
6. Association of Ekiti Local Government Student Union President (AELOGSUP)
7. Federation of Ekiti State Student Union (FESSU)
8. Yoruba Council of Youths Ekiti Chapter
9. Youth Alternative Leadership Movement of Nigeria, Ekiti-State Network (YALMON)
10. Conversation Ekiti
11. Ekiti Youth Arise
12. Ekiti Youth Agenda
13. National Youth Council of NIgeria

The central working committee for the Ekiti Youth Townhall is comprised of one representative each from the listed organizations.

Appointed to coordinate the activities of the steering committee are –

1. Adesina Adetola – Co-chair
2. Bimbo Aladejare Salako – Co-Chair
3. Mayowa Olajide Akinleye – Secretary
