Some civil servants in Ekiti State have commended Governor Biodun Oyebanji for the payment of new minimum wage.
Two of the workers, Mrs Sola Adelola and Seun Adu who spoke with our correspondent noted that the payment came at the right time when they are planning to provide for their family during this Yuletide period.
According to them” the arrival of the new minimum wage will give us opportunity to meet our needs during the Christmas and New year period despite the high cost of food and other commodities”
The civil servants described Governor Oyebanji as promised keeper and wish him well in his future endeavours, describing him as workers’ friendly Governor.
They noted that the implementation of the new minimum wage would spur them to rededicate to their duties.
