The leadership of the Ekiti State All Stars International has described the victory of Hon. Biodun Oyebanji at the Saturday’s poll as a signal for a better Ekiti particularly in the areas of sports.
This is contained in a statement signed by the president Dr. Sola Afolayan and the chairman Board of Trustee, Chief Olu Oloworemo.
All Stars consist of senior players who are no longer playing active football.
The Ekiti team is the current champion of southwest having won the zonal competition decided in Ibadan.
In the statement, Dr Afolayan and Chief Oloworemo attested to the administrative competence of Hon. Oyebanji and his passion for grassroots sports.
The All Stars leadership prayed God to grant the Governor-Elect the wisdom to achieve his great and lofty ideas for the state.
They promised that the association would give maximum support to the incoming governor towards achieving remarkable result.
