The Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye has thanked President Bola Tinubu for the appointment of Mr Afolayan Ayeni as Deputy Comptroller General, Nigeria Immigration Service.
Aribasoye in a press statement described the appointment of Ayeni who hails from Ayedun Ekiti, the speaker’s home town as well deserved and cheering.
He noted that the new Deputy Controller General has been outstanding and committed in the immigration service adding that the years he has spent in service typified patriotism, dedication and complete allegiance to the system.
The speaker expressed confidence in Ayeni’s ability to meet expectations in the new height attained as his past records cast no doubt on his competencies and capacity.
Aribasoye said “Ayeni is a pride to us in Ayedun axis and Ikole local government. I wish to congratulate him on this well deserved elevation with prayers for him to succeed and surmount obstacles that might surface in the line of duty.”
He advised him to live up to the mandate of his new role and always remember that the country and the president have confidence in him by fixing him in the new office.
“I therefore charge you to justify this promotion by maintaining your commitment level and sustaining your loyalty in serving Nigeria passionately.” Aribasoye charged.
