Ekiti Police Nabs Teenage twins, 2 Others for Burgling, Conspiracy

Ekiti State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of twins Olasoji Kehinde and Olasoji Taiwo while attempting to break a shop at Mathew Street, Odo-Ado, Ado-EKITI.

This is contained in a statement by Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Sunday Abutu.

According to the statement, during interrogation, the suspects confessed to the commission of the crime and further stated that they were responsible for the burgling of three shop in Fayemi Market at Agric Olope, Ado-Ekiti where they carted away two bags of rice, two bags of beans and other valuables valued Nine Hundred and Thirty-Six Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty Naira (₦936,750:00).

Further investigation by the Command Rapid Response Squad (RRS) led to the arrest of one Afolayan Funke ‘f’ and Nnaji Benignus Aroh ‘m’ who the suspects claimed have been receiving stolen properties from them.

The suspects will be arraigned accordingly
