Ekiti PFN holds retreat for spiritual, physical awakening of executive members.

Ministers and leaders have been advised to see themselves as stewards and representatives who will give account of whatever they do to God at the end.

The Outgoing chairman of the Ekiti state Pentecostal fellowship of Nigeria PFN, Bishop Clement Olu-Abifade gave the advice in Ikere Ekiti while delivering lectures at the statewide Exco retreat of PFN.

Bishop Olu-Abifade explained that for church leaders to be successful in ministry, they must be able to manage their time, money, success, anger, crisis and human beings God had put in their care very well.

While delivering another paper on accountability, the PFN chairman who described as unfortunate how many pastors did not like accountability, stressed that to be accountable is spiritual and rewarding.

In his own lecture titled faithfulness in stewardship, the PFN deputy chairman Two in Ekiti state Reverend Oke Elemikan noted that transparency, vigilance, hard work and accountability must be the watch words of a good steward.

The retreat which was organised to build the spiritual and mental capacity of the executive members of the PFN in the state featured special prayers for members and restoration of peace and progress to Nigeria.

In their remarks during different prayers sessions and moderations, the incoming PFN chairman in Ekiti state, Rev Kayo Kolade- Ajayi, Vice chairman, Rev Femi Oke and the financial secretary, Pastor Tunji Aina admonished leaders to cultivate the habits of checking themselves in order to meet up with the standard of God.

The men of God explained that the dealings of God were not often palatable but such was needed to produce a man of God who heavens could rely on.
