Ekiti PASAN Hails Governor Oyebanji, Speaker, for Honouring Retired Clerk Tola Esan

The Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN) has expressed its deepest gratitude to the members of the 7th Assembly, ably led by Rt. Hon. Adeoye Stephen Aribasoye, for celebrating the retired Clerk of the House, Mr. Tola Esan, in a grand style.

This according to the Association is one of its kind since the inception of the Ekiti State House of Assembly.

In a statement in Ado Ekiti, Chairman of the Association, Dr. Gbenga Oluwajuyigbe and the secretary, Comrade Adeyemo Aderemi equally congratulated the new clerk, Barrister Opeyemi on his appointment and wish him success in office.

The statement reads:”We thank Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for his special love in supporting the vision of the Ekiti State Legislature, which will in turn be the good fortune of our dear state. This gesture is a testament to the respect and appreciation for the dedicated service of Mr. Esan, who has served the legislative arm of government for 35 years.

“The grand celebration was a fitting tribute to his legacy and a recognition of his contributions to the institution and our dear state.

“As we bid farewell to the outgoing Clerk, Mr. Tola Esan, we remember his dynamic leadership, his commitment to excellence, and his dedication to the legislative arm of government. We will always cherish his humility, hard work, and protectiveness towards the Ekiti State Legislature and Ekiti State, which he always referred to as our Jerusalem.

“We advise the new Acting Clerk, Barrister Ajibola Opeyemi, to borrow these good virtues as he takes on this new role.

“May he emulate Mr. Esan’s humility, hard work, and protectiveness, and build on the foundations laid by his predecessor to continue strengthening our institution and our dear Ekiti state.

“We congratulate Barrister Opeyemi on his appointment and welcome him to our team. We are confident that he will bring his own unique style and vision to the position, and we look forward to working with him to achieve even greater heights. We wish him success and God’s guidance as he embarks on this new journey.
