The Chairman, Nigeria Union of Teachers, Ekiti State wing, Emmanuel Oke, has congratulated the House of Representatives candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 2, Biodun Omoleye on his election victory.
Omoleye was said to have defeated his close rival, Lere Olayinka, who is the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party.
In a statement in Ado Ekiti, Oke described the victory of the Reps elect as a true voice of the people, adding that the people of Ekiti Central are determined to reward Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s good governance.
The NUT Chair appreciated the people of the constituency for their unwavering support and tireless work to deliver the Reps elect.
According to him, “The victory is a clear indication of an election that was won gallantly with a singular determination to provide a vocal and effective representation for the people of the constituency.”
