EKITI NURTW COMMENDS OYEBANJI ON ROADS REHABILITATION.

…says it will boost socio economic activities

The National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, Ekiti State has commended the swift action of Governor Biodun Oyebanji to ensure that the inter and intra roads in the state are motorable.

The Ekiti State Chairman of National Union of Road Transport workers, NURTW, Chief Joseph Falope known as Oloforo gave the commendation in Ado Ekiti while speaking on the state of roads now and then.

Chief Falope explained that most of the roads were in bad condition before Governor Oyebanji took over the mantle of leadership but his prompt action had made the roads passable for motorists.

The Ekiti State NURTW Chairman who mentioned some of the roads that the governor had put in good condition to include Aramoko-Ado, Ado- Ilawe -Erinjiyan, Ado -Iworoko, Ado-Gbonyin, Basiri, Mathew, Agric Olope in Ado Ekiti among other roads across the sixteen local governments of the state.

Chief Falope also commended the present administration on the priority given to farm settlement roads, saying such would allow farmers to be able to bring their produce to urban areas as such would reduce high cost of foods.

According to him, if farmers find it convinient to transport their produce to the markets, it will boost socio economic activities of the state

He therefore appreciated the governor and urged him to extend the ongoing road rehabilitation to others areas.
