The President of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, Ekiti State Chapter, Comrade Oluseyi Olatunde has lauded Governor Biodun Oyebanji for distributing vehicles to top council officials across the state.
Governor Oyebanji had distributed 38 official vehicles to Heads of Local Government Administration (HLAs) in the State’s local government and local council development areas (LCDAs).
According to Comrade Olatunde, such development has further attested to the fact that Oyebanji is workers friendly adding that the vehicles would encourage workers in the state to do more in the discharge of their duties.
He noted that the choice of the governor to also patronize local dealers for the purchase of the vehicles is also commendable saying it will boost the economy of the state and enhance small scale businesses.
While appealing to Governor Oyebanji to continue to prioritise the welfare of workers, the NULGE boss urged him to strengthen the local government system being the closest to the people.
