The Nigeria Union of Journalist, NUJ Ekiti State has today sworn in the newly elected Secretary of the Union, Comr. Seun Ogunsakin.
Recall, ROUNDOFFNEWS reported that Comr. Seun, who is the former Chairman of the Information Chapel, a unit of the Union, was elected on the 20th of December 2023, but absent at the official swearing in.
Performing the swearing in, the Union Chairman, Kayode Babatuyi urged the secretary to justify the confidence reposed in him by members through robust representation.
Speaking with ROUNDOFFNEWS at the Union’s Secretariat, the newly inaugurated secretary, Comr. O’ Seun Ogunsakin outlined his intention for the Union, noting that he would initiate programmes, medical check up for members among others to make members fill the impact of the new executive members.
Comr. Ogunsakin also affirmed that he would continue to maintain good relationship with members of the Union and promised not to betray the trust they have in him.
