The leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Ekiti State has congratulated Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji over his decoration as the Independent Newspaper’s Governor of the Year Award, 2023 ( community development).
This is contained in a statement signed by the Chairman of the Congress, Comrade Kolapo Olatunde.
According to the Chairman, the award is well deserved considering the achievements of Governor Oyebanji in the last one and half years, especially in the areas of workers welfare,community development, youth and women empowerment, infrastructure upgrade as well as his inclusive government, which has put the state on an irreversible path of peace, progress and prosperity.
Comrade Kolapo urged the Governor not to relent but see the recognition as a call for more work.
He said the Ekiti workers would continue to support him and give the necessary advice to enable his government record more success.
