…congratulates Governor Oyebanji over victory at Supreme Court
The National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives Ekiti State Council, has congratulated two of its retired members, Alhaja Muibat Modupe Akingbade and Prince Soji Agunbiade over their appointment as members of the Board of the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital Ado-Ekiti.
This is contained in a statement jointly signed by the State Chairman, Comrade Kunle Oni, State Secretary, Comrade Olabisi Ayenioye and and the State PRO, Comrade Olaoluwa Odunayo.
The statement also appreciates Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji for considering two notable and renowned nurses for such a critical positions just as it congratulated the governor over his victory at the supreme Court.
According to the statement, the appointment of Alhaja Muibat Modupe Akingbade and Prince Soji Agunbiade is an affirmation that the current government under the leadership of Governor Biodun Oyebanji is keeping to its words of ensuring total inclusion of every unit in the health sector for better productivity.
It explains that Alhaja Muibat Modupe Akingbade and Prince Soji Agunbiade being an experienced nurses is an added advantage to the board as they will provide necessary advise that will help to reposition the nursing services in the state for better.
The statement reads:”We the leadership of The National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives Ekiti State Council, received the news of the appointment of Alhaja Muibat Modupe Akingbade and Prince Soji Agunbiade with joy, we are indeed grateful to the Governor for such consideration.
This development will further encourage the younger nurses and give them better sense of belonging.
We pray God to grant the Board the wisdom knowledge and understanding needed to take the right decisions that will take the institution to an enviable height.
The association promised to give the board the necessary support while calling on government of Ekiti State to continue to introduce more policies and programmes that would make life better for nurses and encourage them to continue to give their best to the service of the State
On the supreme Court verdict, the association rejoiced with the Governor and prayed God to grant him the wisdom to deliver on his agenda and promises.
It noted that the victory is well deserved and a victory for Ekiti people who came out in large number to vote him during the election.
