The lawmaker representing Ekiti East Constituency 1 at the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Hon. Oladele Ogunsakin has congratulated the newly elected State executive committee members of the Social Democratic Party SDP.
The new executives emerged on Tuesday through a consensus arrangement.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti, Hon. Ogunsakin urged the party executives to see their election as a call to service, urging them to work hard to justify the confidence reposed in them.
Ogunsakin urged the executives to work in unison and make the party greater than before.
According to him, the mandate given to them must be well utilized without compromise.
He promised to use his wealth of experience to support the party towards recording victory in future polls.
Ogunsakin called on aggrieved members to give room for reconciliation and support the new leaders in the struggle for a strong and better party.
