EKITI LOCAL GOVERNMENT SERVICE COMMISSION AWARDS OUTSTANDING STAFF, RETIREES

… promises conducive environment for workers

Retired and some serving staff of the Ekiti State Local Government Service Commission have been honoured for their contributions towards the progress and success of the commission.

While the retired staff got gifts, the service staff were decorated with award of outstanding workers of year 2022.

The serving awardees who were selected from different departments of of the commission were joined by their admirers to dance to different musics and celebrate as they receive the honour.

In his speech during the programme held in Ado Ekiti, the state Head of Service, Mr. Bamidele Agbede who was represented by Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works and Transportation, Mr Sunday Komolafe gave an assurance that hardworking, dutiful and diligent officers who are passionate and committed to raising the ethical standard of the service would continue receiving awards.

In his speech, the Permanent Secretary, Local Government
Service Commission, Mr Babtunde Jegede urged the awardees both serving and retired not to relent ofn their oars but continue to soar for the best wherever they find themselves.

Mr Jegede appreciated the present administration for providing conducive environment for workers to perform their duties effectively and urged local governments staff in the state to be dedicated to their work.

In their remaks representatives of the retirees and awardees, Mr Adeyeye Babtunde and Mrs Bukola Abolarin appreciated management of the Ekiti State Local Government Service Commission for counting them worthy and promised not to relent in given their best to the society.
