Ekiti Government Hails C-19RM/RSSH Advocacy Team Over Commitment to Better Healthcare System

Ekiti State Government has commended the State Advocacy Team working on the Global Fund C-19RM/RSSH Grant for its zeal and passion to ensure that members of the public have access to  better health care services.

Permanent Secretary, Ekiti  State Ministry of Health, Mrs M.O Arogundade gave the commendation while playing host to the team in her office in Ado Ekiti.

Mrs Arogundade urged the team to endeavour to communicate the appropriate authorities about any observation noticed in health facilities across the state with a promise that government would do the needful.

She explained that no government could achieve much without the support of Civil Society Organizations CSOs, saying their roles cannot be over emphasized.

She promised to give necessary support to the team towards achieving success in the task ahead.

Earlier in his remark, a member of the advocacy team who is the Executive Director Environmental Development and Family Health Organization EDFHO Sir Olu Ogunrotimi appreciated the PS for the warm reception accorded the team.

Sir Ogunrotimi noted that the visit was to introduce the team to her and seek for necessary support in the task of ensuring improved attention for primary health facilities in the state.

He said the team is committed to ensuring that communities take ownership of health facilities and support government to ensure their sustainability.
