EKITI ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH OFFICERS COMMEND GOVERNOR OYEBANJI OVER APPROVAL OF CONHES, HAZARD ALLOWANCE

Members of the Environmental Health Officers Association of Nigeria (EHOAN) Ekiti State Chapter has appreciated Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji over the approval of 90% Consolidated Health Salary Structure (CONHESS and 100% Hazard Allowance for them as part of efforts to cushion the effect of the fuel subsidy removal.

The health officers expressed their appreciation through a press statement signed by the President of the Association, Sanitarian Victoria Jumoke Bodunde, the Secretary Sanitarian Fatokun Theophilus
and the PRO, Sanitarian Orojo J. Adebayo.

According to the health officers, the action of Gov. Oyebanji was thoughtful and came at the right time considering the current economic realities which had had its toll of civil servants.

They affirmed that the Consolidated Health Salary Structure (CONHESS and Hazard Allowance have been part of the long time agitation of the association, saying the approval by Governor Oyebanji was indeed a dream come true.

It reads:” We the members of the Environmental Health Officers Association of Nigeria (EHOAN) Ekiti State Chapter are grateful to our amiable Governor, the man of the people and lovers of workers.

“We never saw this coming, it came as a surprise and we are so excited, thank You Mr. Governor, God will continue to uphold you.

“We want to assure you of our best towards preventing and combating diseases in the state.
