EKITI ELEVATES THREE MORE TRADITIONAL RULERS

The Ekiti State Government has approved the upgrade of three (3) more traditional rulers in the state.

A statement on Wednesday signed by the Deputy Governor, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi, said one of Obas was elevated from Grade B to Grade A while two others were elevated from Grade C to Grade B.

According to the statement, the Onikun of Ikun Ekiti in Moba Local Government was elevated from Grade B status to Grade A status.

Also benefiting from the upgrade was the Onifisin of Ifisin Ekiti in Ido/Osi Local Government and the Obadu of Ilemeso Ekiti in Oye Local Government who were both elevated from Grade C to Grade B.

The statement congratulated the monarchs on their elevation.
