has promised to mobilize officers of the command to provide adequate security during the saturday’s election.
According to a statement by the spokesman for the command, DSP Sunday Abutu the new CP has promised to deploye necessary and adequate human and material resources to all the nooks and crannies of the State.
“The Commissioner, while assuring residents of the Police readiness to ensure the protection of their lives and properties before, during and after the election, enjoins the law abiding citizens of Ekiti State to go out enmass to exercise their franchise without any form of apprehension.
“The CP noted that the Command is working in synergy with other relevant security agencies and the Independent National Electoral Commission to ensure a hitch free election.
