The Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Chief Monisade Afuye, has called on the people of Ikere Ekiti, particularly her loyalists, to join the monthly wellness walk organized by a former member of the House of Representatives, Bimbo Daramola, scheduled to hold in Ikere next Saturday.
Chief Afuye made the call while receiving the BAOwalk team led by Congressman Bimbo Daramola. The Deputy Governor acknowledged the importance of regular exercise, particularly brisk walking, adding that the initiative aligns with the six-point agenda of Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
She appreciated Bimbo Daramola for his unwavering support for the present administration and the APC. According to her, Bimbo Daramola is a loyal party man who could also be described as the best lawmaker Ekiti produced during his time in office. She promised to mobilize her followers to join the walk.
Presenting the invitation to the Deputy Governor, Bimbo Daramola confirmed that the Ikere edition is the 10th and would be very massive. He commended the Deputy Governor for supporting the Governor and showcasing her experience and maturity in the discharge of her duty.
