The Ekiti State Commissioner of Police, CP Ogundare Dare has decorated the newly promoted Officers of the Command which include four(4) Chief Superintendents of Police and four (4) Assisant Superintendents of Police in his office.
At the ceremony, the CP urged the promoted officers to see the elevation as additional responsibility and a call to the service to the nation and humanity.
He implored them to be good ambassadors of the Nigeria Police Force and ensure they acquaint themselves with the rules of engagement of their new ranks.
Reacting on behalf on the promotees, *Csp Kolade Oluseyi Sunday, thanked the Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba for considering them worthy of the new rank which will serve as a morale booster in their daily, mandatory and statutory responsibility of protection of lives and properties of citizens.
While also thanking the Ekiti State Commissioner of Police, CP Ogundare Dare and other senior officers for their support, the promotees promised to diligently discharge their duties and live up to the expected standard of the Nigeria Police Force.
