…say he’s a compassionate administrator
The National Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria, Ekiti State Chapter has lauded the retiring Permanent Secretary of Ekiti State Local Government Service Commission, Mr Emmanuel Babatunde Jegede, saying he is a compassionate and seasoned administrator who is particular about the success of all.
This was made known by the State Chairman of the Association, Comrade Olatunbosi Tope in an interactive session with ROUNDOFFNEWS during the retirement ceremony for the PS in Ado-Ekiti.
According to him, the retiring PS touched many lives and had impact in the Public Service, revealing that the State recorded a commendable excellence through him.
He said, “We are celebrating the outgoing Permanent Secretary in the person of Mr EB Jegede, and today he is signing out today. We have a lot to say about him; Mr EB Jegede has been a compassionate and seasoned administrator. He has been so magnanimous in ensuring that the staff of the Local Government get to the peak of their chosen career.
“This man is not the type of an administrator who will terminate any officer heading to the peak of their career; that is why everybody is here to celebrate him today. We the community health practitioners we are here today to celebrate him because primary health care is our job, and here, if one is not having the satisfaction that is expected from the employer that is getting to the peak of his career, one will be missing it so we are celebrating him because he has taken us even up to director cadre in this our career of Community Health.”
Similarly, the Second Vice Chairman of the Association, Comrade Ibitoye Oluwabukola recalled the Secretary’s unswerving support to the Commission as well as his meritorious contributions towards the upliftment and improvement of the career of public servants in the State.

In fact, if I have to comment about him, I will say a lot of things, in order not to waste much time, I will say, he is a very good man, in terms of performance he has been doing a lot, he has done alot in the Local Government Service Commission to improve the career of all staff of the Local Government Commission of Ekiti State, I think a man like him is worthy to be celebrated, he is a good man indeed.”
