Ekiti Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ECCIMA) held a colorful roadshow across major streets and markets of Ado Ekiti to create massive awareness for the Ekiti Trade Fair 2025.
The trade fair is organized by Ekiti Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ECCIMA) in collaboration with Ekiti State Government and Association of Local Government of Nigeria
The campaign touched areas like Oke Ori Omi, Okesa, Okeyimi, Oja bisi and Oja Oba, where traders and shoppers warmly received handbills that carried all necessary information about the trade fair.
Chairperson of the Trade Fair Committee and Technical Adviser to the Governor Oyebanji on Entrepreneurship Development, Dr. Abimbola Oni, said the outreach was designed to improve public participation at the fair due to its benefits.
She encouraged residents to turn out from Monday, December 8, noting that several companies would sell goods at controlled prices while Wema Bank would provide free POS machines to market women.
Dr. Oni added that major national brands, including Indomie, Honeywell, Dangote, Agbeyewa, Afe Babalola alongside local manufacturers, would be present.
She urged residents to take advantage of affordable shopping opportunities as the Christmas season approaches, assuring them that artisans, farmers, and traders from all local government areas would be participating.
ECCIMA President Alhaji Olufemi Hassan appealed to residents within and outside Ekiti to be part of the fair, promising top-value experiences for all attendees.
He further disclosed that exceptional Ekiti entrepreneurs would be recognized with awards for their contributions to the state’s business growth.
According to ECCIMA’s Director-General, Hon. Caleb Osasona, the 2025 edition is poised to be “one of the most innovative and flamboyant” fairs in the chamber’s history.
He noted that exhibitors from Lagos, Abuja, Abia, Kwara, and other parts of the country would showcase new products, innovations, research, and goods expected to push down market prices during the festivities.
ECCIMA Financial Secretary, Mr. Omomyi Isaac, appreciated the government and corporate partners, revealing that Coca-Cola and several auto companies had already confirmed participation. With the strong public reception witnessed during the roadshow, the Ekiti Trade Fair 2025 is already shaping up to become one of the state’s most highly anticipated economic events.
In various markets visited, the traders commended Ekiti Chambers of Commerce for the initiative and promised to participate.
