The Ekiti State Chapter of the Association of Nigerian Authors (aka, EkANA) has eulogized the immediate past first lady of Ekiti State, Her Excellency, Erelu Bisi Fayemi on the occasion of her 61st birthday anniversary, describing her as an epitome of unrivalled compassion, courage and resilience.
A press release by the Association’s State Public Relations Officer (PRO), Wole Balogun, EkANA says that Erelu Fayemi has shown her compassionate nature through countless philanthropic gestures to the less-privileged, lifting many out of poverty and giving empowerment to the needy.
The statement further reads In part: “It noteworthy and praiseworthy that Erelu’s altruism and philanthropy transcend her tenure in office as first lady, thus confirming that she’s truly kind by nature”
We salute our highly revered Erelu Fayemi’s uncommon courage in combating all kinds of gender-based violence, recalling her many exploits as a defender of the defenceless, voice of the voiceless and a gallant crusader for the rights of the womenfolk. Indeed, Her Excellency remains an amazon whose humanity is a soothing sunshine to the downtrodden.
