….commends Governor Biodun Oyebanji
All Stars International, Ekiti State Chapter has commended Governor Biodun Oyebanji over the ongoing renovation of the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado Ekiti, saying upon completion the facility will boost sporting activities in the State.
President of the Association, Star Taofeeq Alabi gave the commendation when he led other leaders of the Association to inspect the level of work done so far by the contractor handling the project.
Star Alabi explained that the remodeling of the stadium by Governor Oyebanji was an attestation to his commitment to grassroots sports and youth development.
He charged the engineers handling the project to use standard materials that would stand the test of time with a promise that All Stars International would not relent in its efforts at contributing to development of sporting activities in the State.
Responding, the Technical Advisor to the Governor on Sports, Dr Olusola Osetoba appreciated All Stars International for the visit, saying the stadium after completion will rank among the best in the country and meet up with international Standard.
Dr Osetoba explained that the renovation is not limited to the football pitch but all other facilities including a befitting sporting complex which would also serve as source of income for the state and create conducive environment for athletes.
She said the existing spectators’ stands would be renovated while modern administrative block would also be constructed for staff to have a good environment to operate.
