Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Ekiti State Command along Ado Ikere Road, Ekiti state has made known her operational security master plan for the Eid-el-Fitr celebration in Ekiti state .
The deployment covers Elite Units like Anti-kidnapping, Counter Terrorism and Anti-Cultism while the Special Units are Agro Rangers, Critical National Assets and Infrastructure Protection and general duties.
The State Commandant in his analysis and breakdown of the operational plans noted that, the command is ready to make sure that the existing peace is maintained by deploying the CTU to work on the flash points in all the nooks and crannies of the state while the Anti-kidnapping Unit will engage in both overt and covert operations to deter kidnappers and those with such intentions in the State.
Commandant Agboola who also channeled the deployment into various worship centres in the State projected that each mapped out praying grounds will have undercovers who will be surveying the area and carry out risk assessment before the convergence of Muslim faithfuls in all the praying grounds in the State .
He urged the people of the state to celebrate Eid-el-Fitr with fear of Allah by protecting Critical National Infrastructure as CNAI Unit will be patrolling all the worship centres to make sure that common properties are not tampered with.Agboola who said vandals are always taking opportunity of public holidays to vandalize government properties warned that, the CNAI of Ekiti Command will deploy technologies and manpower to monitor all the National Assets both public and private in the State so that Ekiti people can enjoy the celebration.
Commandant Agboola extended his greetings to the State Governor His Excellency Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, the Commandant General Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi mni OFR and all the Muslims faithfuls in the State as over 1000 personnels are out there to support security coverages during this celebration supported by the State Governor as well as the Commandant General of the Corps so that Ekiti can continue to enjoy the existing and prevailing peace occasioned by the combined efforts of the security agencies in the State .
