…sympathizes with families of victim, Government
A Socio-Economic group for development and advancement of Ekiti State, E-11 group has condemned the gruesome murder of two traditional rulers in the state, the Elesun of Esun -Ekiti Oba Babatunde Ogunsakin and the Onimojo of Imojo Ekiti Oba Olatunde Olusola by yet to be identified gun men.
The group in a statement signed by it’s Chairman Chief Kola Akosile and Secretary Mr OSKA Seyi Aiyeleso described the incident as heinous and worrisome, calling on security agencies to fish out the perpetrators of the evil act and bring them to justice.
The group commiserated with the families of the monarchs, the people and Ekiti State Government over the unfortunate incident and prayed for the souls of the departed.
The E-11 group emphasized the need for security agencies to increase surveillance across communities in the state, and extend her willingness to use her connection( within and outside the country) to support EKSG in it’s bid to stem the cases of kidnapping and other menace in the State.
The group also called on security agencies to intensify efforts to rescue the pupils and teachers kidnapped around Eporo Area of the State.
