…extends heartfelt congratulations, pleads for reinstatement of sacked staff
Members of the Senior Staff Association of Nigeria Universities, SSANU, Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti Chapter have asked Governor Biodun Oyebanji to see his award as Best Governor of the Year as one of the rewards for hard work, excellence and commitment to good governance.
This is contained in a congratulatory message signed on behalf of the members by the Chairman, Comrade Azeez Aguda, the Secretary, Comrade O.J. Ogunmokun and the Treasurer, Comrade Adeoye B.E.
According to the statement, the media house that nominated the Governor was right in it’s judgement considering how Governor Oyebanji has been able to touch so many lives and made meaningful impacts within his less than two years in office.
The SSANU leaders confirmed that since the emergence of Oyebanji, workers at EKSU have heave a sigh of relief due to his magnanimous contributions to the university and other subvented institutions in Ekiti.
They noted that Governor Oyebanji has not only ensure regular and timely release of subvention, he had also increased it significantly to the extent that the university can now do a lot of things to promote workers welfare and enhance teaching, research and learning.
The workers pleaded with the Governor to reinstate some sacked staff of the university to further restore total happiness to the university community.
While congratulating the Governor, the EKSU senior staff wishes him well in future endeavors and prayed God to place him at vantage positions that will make home do more for his people.
