A Chief Magistrate Court in Ado-Ekiti has ordered the remand of four suspects at the Ekiti State Correctional Centre in connection with the disappearance of a young boy Adepoju Agboola Ayobami known asBobo
The suspects Dauda Junior, Marvelous, Tayo and Bella said to be Bobo’s girlfriend were remanded for 26 days to allow the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Ekiti State Command, to conclude investigations into the case.
The boy was reported missing on May 18th 2026 after attending the Aisun Odun Eegun Festival Eve at the residence of Baba Alakinyede in Ado-Ekiti.
He was last seen at the event venue.
Confirming the development, the NSCDC Ekiti Command public Relations officer, Mr Tolu Afolabi said the arrest and remand of the four persons was to aid investigation into the circumstances surrounding Bobo’s disappearance.
He said the Command is collaborating with other security agencies to track Bobo and bring all those found culpable to justice and urged members of the public with useful information to come forward to assist the investigation.
