Federal Road Maintenance Agency FERMA has been called upon to repair the bad portion of road between Igede, Aramoko and Erio Ekiti.
The Chairman of Ekiti West Local Government, Hon Olusesan Okere made the call during a visit to the road.
Hon. Okere explained that the road had become a death trap and black spot for motorists plying it, hence the need for quick intervention.
The Ekiti West Council boss also lamented how comuters were subjected to untold hardship while plying the road, saying if necessary actions were not taken criminals will take advantage of the bad portion to perpetrate evils.
In an interview, some of the motorists appealed to Ekiti and federal governments to reconstruct the road,adding that they normally spent hours on the it while their vehicles have been damage.
