He said; “Let me congratulate the National and state Assemblies’ members-elect for their victories at the polls. Let it be stated that your victories were signs that people reposed so much confidence in you and you shouldn’t betray them.
“We are in a country where poverty was spiraling on daily basis. But most hit are our women , particularly young widows and our productive youth population. Available statistics by the federal government attested to this fact.
“I appeal to you to ioin hands with Governor Biodun Oyebanji to alleviate poverty afflicting these categories of people, so that we can have a progressive Ekiti that is secured for all of us.
“No nation can witness development when youths are abandoned. This makes it imperative that you mustll embrace youth and women-driven programmes that have the capacity to empower these categories of people and make them relevant through effective contributions to economic growth”.
Adedayo, who prognosticated into the 2026 governorship poll in Ekiti State, maintained that the performances of the lawmakers-elect will help in garnering supports for the candidate of the APC.
“The entire Ekiti people across party and religious lines are happy with the Biodun Oyebanji-led government. The governor is gradually entrenching participatory democracy and bringing steady progress to human and infrastructural development.
“But the lawmakers’ performances would also form part of the holistic view of how the APC has fared ahead of 2026, so I charge them to place high premium on human capital development to boost the chances of our party in future elections”.
