CHIEF TAIWO OLATUBOSUN, BARRISTER OLUWASEYI EBENEZER BAG PRESTIGIOUS AWARD

The Ekiti State Commissioner for Information, Chief Taiwo Olatubosun has been decorated with an award of excellence by the Rotary Club of Ado Ekiti, New Dawn.

Chief Olatubosun is among the few notable personalities such as Environmental and Social Safeguard Specialist, Barrister Oluwaseyi Ebenezer,
Founder of Elizade University, Professor Tunde Adeyemo and CMD, Abuad Multi-System Hospital, Dr Olubunmi Kolawole
honoured by the club.

The personalities were decorated during the Charter Presentation and Investiture Ceremony of Rotarian Emmanuel Oluwafemi as the charter president of the Rotary Club, Ado Ekiti, New Dawn and other Board of Directors.

In his acceptance speech, the new president, Mr. Emmanuel Oluwafemi called on more individuals in the society to join and support the club towards reaching out to more vulnerable persons in the society.

He announced that the club would soon embark on tree planting, support for widows and safety education for Okade riders and distribution of reflective jackets to them.

According to him, the awardees were selected based on their selfless humanitarian services urging them not to relent.

Earlier, the District Governor, District 9125, Sagab Sani Ahmed represented by Mr. Rotimi Ologundudu enjoined members of the club to operate strictly by the agenda of the club which is mainly service to humanity.

In an interview, two of the awardees, Chief Taiwo Olatubosun and Oluwaseyi Ebenezer expressed delight over the recognition which they said would spur them to carry out more humanitarian services.
