The State Agencies for the Control of AIDS (SACA) has promised to support the Ekiti State Advocacy Group working on the Global Fund C-19RM/RSSH Grant toward achieving the aims and objectives of the project.
The Global Fund C-19RM/RSSH Grant is an initiative designed to identify the various challenges facing health facilities thus meeting with well meaning individuals within the communities to address the identified challenges.

The GM who commended Global Fund for such a laudable initiative promised the readiness of SACA to partner the Advocacy team.
According to him, the idea is unique and would go a long way at sustaining the health system in Ekiti State and enhance its services to the people.
His words:”Let me appreciate you for coming and I will like to commend this laudable idea initiated by Global Fund.
“I have always said it that we can get a lot of things done through communal efforts, we can not leave everything for government, we need to look inward particularly our communities.
“Most of us are products of communal efforts, I remember that while I was going to school, my Father only handed me over to a member of the community working in the university, and that was all.
Dr. Doherty promised that SACA Ekiti State would always be available for any of the programmes that requires its attention.
He called for improved funding of SACA to enable it perform its roles optimally.
