Buhari “did exceptionally well, feels fulfilled going home”, Presidency Knocks Critics

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu said President Mohammadu Buhari “has done exceptionally well and he feels fulfilled going home”.

Garba said thism during an interactive session with Journalists on Channels Television, adding that, Nigerians will appreciate Buhari’s efforts later.

In his words “The President feels fulfilled. He has done exceptionally well as best as he can in the circumstances in which he has found himself. He is satisfied going home for the next president to contribute and build on the foundations he has laid,”

Meanwhile, President Buhari recently appealed for forgiveness from Nigerians concerning some ills and offenses his government might have taken.

According to Garba “the apology by President Muhammadu Buhari did not indicate acceptance of wrongdoing on his part, some persons may have been inadvertently offended by Buhari’s actions. But such actions are not intentional.”

On security he said Buhari has succeeded in fighting the Boko Haram insurgents, adding that the military is now better equipped to handle the country’s security challenges unlike before.

Speaking on Economy, the Spokesman indicated that economic issues are global problem following the COVID-19 pandemic.
