BSES, FRESH FM THROW SUPPORT BEHIND CURRENT EXECUTIVES OF EKITI NUJ

…as Chairman, Babatuyi promises reformation of the Union

The Management of Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State, BSES and Fresh Fm, Ado Ekiti have promised to support the newly inaugurated Executive Members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ekiti State Council.

They made the promise during a courtesy visits to Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State, BSES and Fresh FM Ado-Ekiti.

At the Broadcasting Service Ekiti State, the General Manager, Mr Olu popoola congratulated the team for emerging successfully.

He applauded the plans and initiatives laid down by the administration to improve the Union while promising his support to the team in other to promote the culture of Journalism.

Also, at Fresh FM, Ado Ekiti, the General Manager of the Media House, Mr Jide Ogunluyi appraised the Chairmans’s victory during the Union’s last election saying, “I’m glad to see sons whom I groomed in the profession achieving great things, and I know that no project is insurmountable to achieve by this team.

” I have no reason to turn my back on this team, whenever you need me I’ll be available”

He promised to support the Union’s initiative of presenting awards to outstanding members by sponsoring at least five category of awards.

Earlier, the NUJ Chairman in Ekiti State, Comrade Kayode Babatuyi had sought the support of the management of Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State.

The NUJ chairman Promised to organise orientation course for journalists in Ekiti State to remind them the rule and regulations that guide their proffession.

He said the newly inaugurated Executives of the union would justify the confidence reposed in them and give priority to members welfare

“I want to raise the standard of the Union and for that to take effect there is needs for all members to pay their dues appropriately.” He said.

More so, Com. Babatuyi, cited the intention of presenting award to outstanding Journalists as an initiative to motivate and encourage all Journalist in the state to put in their best towards promoting Journalism at its best.

The Chairman appreciated the GMs for the support shown his team following his emergence as the Chairman Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ekiti State Council.
