A Radio Presenter, Caleb Obisesan, popularly known as Anointed Presenter, has honoured eminent personalities in the Ekiti State with the ‘Living Legend Award.’
Speaking at the award ceremony, which was held at the premises of Progress FM Ado-Ekiti, Obisesan said the decoration was to honour those who contributed immensely to his life when he started his broadcasting career at Radio Nigeria Progress FM, Ado Ekiti.
He appreciated them for their support which encouraged and kept him going in the journey as a broadcaster particularly during his periodic programme “Children Bible league.”
The recipients include; General Manager of Progress FM Ado-Ekiti, Dr. Adebola Agbaje, Bishop Clement Olu-Abifade, the immediate past P.F.N Chairman in Ekiti State, Prophet Gabriel Oluyemi, Mrs. Olusola Ogundare, popularly known as “Iya olowo”, Mr. Olawale Ogungbe, P.R.O Regular Callers Association in Ekiti State.
Others are; Miss Ayotomiwa Ayodele, Executive Director of MAI INITIATIVE in Ekiti State, Instructor Felix Adeojo, former Branch Secretary of Nigerian Red Cross Society, Ekiti State Branch, Pastor Oluwaseyi Ige and Mr Femi Ademulegun, a staff of Radio Nigeria.
Receiving the award, the General Manager of Progress FM, represented by a Staff of ICT Department in Progress FM, Pastor John Osadare urged Broadcasters to embrace spirit of dedication to duty in order for them to thrive in the profession.
Dr. Agbaje said being dedicated to duty and diligence would make them to attain greater heights and commended the organiser of the award for his outstanding qualities.
On their part, the other awardees appreciated the organiser of the award for the honour bestowed on them.
