The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has suspended further collation of Abia and Enugu Gubernatorial election results.
This is contained in a press statement obtained from the INEC verified Twitter handle, @inecnigeria after arising from a meeting where it reviewed the Gubernatorial elections in the country.
The considerations according to the press statement is that, yesterday the INEC office in Obingwa Local Government Areas, Abia state was attacked by thugs.
Also, in Enugu reports call for review of the election, particularly in Nsukka and Nkanu East Local Government Areas.
INEC appealed to voters, parties and candidates in effected areas to be patient.
