Some students of the Mass Communication Department of the Bamidele Olumilua University of Education Science and Technology have donated office furniture to the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Ekiti State Council.
The materials were presented to the NUJ chairman, Comrade Kayode Babatuyi during a learning visit to the NUJ secretariat by the students who were led by the lecturer, Mrs Labake Akinyemi.
The students visited to seek more knowledge about the importance of media relations particularly from journalists who have been working in the field.
During the learning session, the NUJ Chairman urged the students to be focused and diligent.
Other journalists who were on the ground including the chairperson of the National Association of Women Journalists, Mrs Adewumi Ademiju took time to educate the students on the function of journalists as an image maker.
