Ekiti State State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji has called on the various groups working for presidential candidate of APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to work together and ensure that the party record victory during February 25th election.
Governor Oyebanji made the call during the Inauguration of Tinubu-Shetima Grass Roots Independent Campaign Council, Ekiti State Chapter
Represented by his Special Adviser on Political Affairs, Chief Jide Awe, the governor urged members of the committee at state and local governments to see the assignment as a call to mobilise for the presidential candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in all nooks and crannies of the state.
Governor Oyebanji promised to support them to ensure that they achieve the desired goal come February 25th of this year by electing Asiwaju Tinubu as the next president of the country.
In his speech, Ekiti State Coordinator, Tinubu shetima Grassroot Independent Campaign Council, GICC, Prince Akintade Olayisade noted that, it is only presidential Candidate of APC that has the capacity to rule the nation well, hence the need to vote for him massively during the poll.
Prince Olayisade described Asiwaju Tinubu as “national resources” due to his antecedent of turning Lagos to a cosmopolitan State and economy hub of the country, saying such person should be given opportunity to replicate such at the national level.
According to him, GICC is the personal initiative of the presidential candidate of APC to embark on door to door, house to house, street to street campaign to ensure that the party win next month presidential election.
He called on the residents of the state to come out in large number to vote for Tinubu, Shetima, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele and other candidates of the party during the polls, adding that such would allow them to enjoy more dividends of democracy.

National coordinator of GICC, South, Hon. Akinola Awodeyi explained that GICC and PCC were the major campaign committees for Asiwaju Tinubu and appealed to others to join to ensure that presidential candidate of the party emerge during the poll.
Prince noted that it is only when candidate of the party emerge that members can benefit, noting that there is nothing to share in zero.
In a remark, the lawmaker representing Ekiti Central at the Red chamber, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele he appealed members of the newly inaugurated to complement the efforts of PCC by embarking on aggressive mobilisation especially at the grassroots for presidential candidate of APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and other candidates of the party during the next month election.
Senator Bamidele said that he has been with Asiwaju Tinubu for over thirty four years and benefited from him, saying he would do everything to pay him back by ensuring that he becomes the next presidential of Federal Republic of Nigeria.
