…demands more juicy positions for Akure indigenes
Members of the All Progressives Congress APC, Ward four, Akure South has appreciated the State Governor, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa for appointing one them, Barr. Gbenga Olaniyi as commissioner nominee.
In a statement in Akure, the Chairman of APC Ward Four Akure South, Chief Ishola Alade noted that the decision made by the governor showed that he has residents of Akure South at heart.
Chief Alade also described the decision of the governor as right one, noting that Barr Olaniyi would use his experience as a lawyer and administrator to contribute towards the development of the sunshine State.
The APC ward four Chairman urged the governor to appoint more indigenes of Akure to his cabinet as they have a lot to offer, to make his administration an outstanding one.
He therefore advised the commissioner nominee to justify the confidence repose in him by the governor through robust service delivery.
It would be recalled that Chief Alade had sometime addressed journalists and appealed to Governor Aiyedatiwa to appoint Barr Gbenga Olaniyi into his cabinet.
