A member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Bamisile, has grieved over the sudden and untimely passing into higher realm of a two times Commissioner in Ekiti State, Hon. Diran Adesua.
Adesua, an indigene of Omuo Ekiti and former Commissioner for Works, who later superintended over the Ministry Physical And Urban Development under different administrations, died on Saturday, during a brief illness.
In his condolence message released, on Monday, Bamisile, described Adesua’s sudden demise as highly devastating and saddening to him, having worked knittedly with the deceased in the political turf within the progressive fold.
Bamisile, who represents Ekiti South Federal Constituency II, alluded to the deceased as a strong and dependable progressive politician, saying he would be fondly and relishly remembered for playing significant roles in the development of the state through the positions he held.
According to Bamisile, most exhilarating of Adesua’s political exploits, was the historic role he played, alongside other members of the defunct Alliance for Democracy, for progressive party to come on stream in Ekiti State, at the advent of democracy in 1999.
Bamisile stated that Adesua was not only a dependable and highly resourceful politician, but a leader, who valued self-respect and integrity, making him earned the respect of APC faithful in his council and the state, by extension.
He commiserated with the deceased’s nuclear and extended family members, political partners and allies, party leaders and the entire people of Ekiti State over the passing of this priceless and respectable politician.
“My utmost sympathies go to Governor Biodun Oyebanji, the Olomuo in Council and all APC members across the State, who perceived Diran Adesua as a leader and a reliable personality, with a stable character.
“His sudden death might have sent a jitter of sadness round our spines and mentality, we should take succour in the fact that he lived a positively impactful and memorable life. This remains his strong standpoint that should console all of us.
“May the good Lord grant him eternal rest and cater for the family he left behind”, Bamisile stated.
