….Urges Ekiti Residents to Keep Clean and Hygienic Environment
The State Administrative Council of the Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria (ACHPN), Ekiti State Chapter, an affiliate of the Trade Union Congress, has extended goodwill messages to members and leaders of the association on the celebration of this year’s Christmas.
The congratulatory message is contained in a statement signed by the Chairman of the Association, Comrade Temitope Olatunbosun, and the Secretary, Comrade Cornelius Makanjuola.
The statement rejoiced with the health workers for the grace to witness another Christmas in good health and sound minds, considering the hazards associated with their jobs. According to the statement, health workers are confronted by numerous challenges that endanger their lives, but to the glory of God, the year 2025 has been characterized by good news, prosperity, and career growth.
It calls on members to celebrate with modesty and find time to relax so as to return to work with fresh energy and vigor.
The statement equally extended goodwill messages to Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, his wife, Dr. Olayemi, the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Oyebanji Filani, all cabinet members of the Governor, leaders of Trade Union Congress, and all labour force in Ekiti.
It appreciated the Governor for various welfare packages and attention to some of their demands in the outgoing year, hoping to continue to work together for better healthcare services and development of Ekiti State.
Meanwhile, in the spirit of Yuletide, the leadership of the association has appealed to residents to keep a clean and hygienic environment so as to guard against any unwanted outbreak of disease.
