A young man name withheld on Tuesday rammed into three other vehicles in the city of Ado Ekiti damaging the vehicles.
The incident happened at the Oke Oriomi area of Ado Ekiti in front of the office of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners.
According to reports, the amateur driver was coming from the Okesa axis but on sighting a patrol team of police, out of anxiety he switched his lexus Toyota car to reverse mode but lost control of the vehicle.
In the process, the driver rammed into three other vehicles and injured a woman on a motorcycle.
Witnesses worried over the high rate of accidents involving young men suspected to be involved in cyber crime and called for urgent action.
At the moment, the driver has been handed over to the traffic department of the Ekiti State Police Command.
