ALAWE CONGRATULATES DIG ABIODUN ALABI FOR SUCCESSFUL POLICE CAREER

The Alawe of Ilawe Ekiti, HRM Oba Adebanji Ajibade Alabi AFUNTADE 1, has congratulated a prominent son of Ilawe Ekiti, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Abiodun Alabi for a successful career in the Nigerian Police Force and retiring today, 31st December 2024 without blemish . He also congratulated the DIG on his birthday which coincides with his retirement.

Alawe spoke in his palace on the heels of the final pullout of DIG Alabi today from the force and noted that DIG Alabi’s record in the Police was that of a Police officer seen by others as an epitome of hard work and excellence in anything that would benefit the force and his country, Nigeria.

“Coming back home to Ilawe Ekiti, DIG Abiodun Alabi who is High Chief Okanlomo of Ilawe Ekiti has been one of the supporting pillars of development in Ilawe Ekiti”,Oba Alabi noted.
The Alawe stressed that the retiring Police Officer during his active service in the force helped several individuals in Ekiti State,particularly his home town, to enlist in the force while playing pivotal roles in the elevation of many police officers who came across him in the Nigerian Police Force.

Oba Alabi prayed to God to grant the retiring DIG, long life and good health to continue his services, in whatever capacity , to the benefit of the people.
