Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC) and former senatorial aspirant, Chief Segun Ajibulu has expressed grief over the sudden death of the State Chairman of the party in Ekiti, Barrister Paul Omotoso.
Ajibulu, in his condolence message described the late Omotoso as a loyal and committed leader who believed in the ideals of democracy and good governance.
The APC chieftain disclosed that himself and the late Omotoso exchanged correspondences few days before his demise on how to move the party forward in Ekiti .
“I received the news of the death of our party Chairman, Barrister Paul Omotoso with rude shock .Two days before his death, I sent a message to him and he acknowledged it .He ( Omotoso) told me that we shall discuss more on the matter as soon as return to Nigeria.It is therefore painful that we couldn’t meet again.
“Late Omotoso was such a gentle and resourceful party leader who believed in the true ideals of People’s participation in the politics and governance. Our party enjoyed relative peace under his leadership and he would be greatly miss by all.
“I want to use this medium to,convey my heartfelt condolences to governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji the people of Ekiti andthe esteemed members of the APC .I want to also pray to God Almighty to give his immediate family the fortitude to bear the irreparrable loss.May his gentle soul of late Omotoso rest in peace.” Ajibulu said
