Ado-Ekiti Central Lions Club Donates Bedspreads to Health Centres in Ikere-Ekiti.

The Lions Club International, Ado-Ekiti Central Lions Club District 404-B2 Nigeria has presented twenty pieces of bedspreads to two Health Centres in Ikere-Ekiti.

They include Primary Health Centre, Idemo and Basic Health Centre, Oke-Osun in Ikere which received ten bedspreads each.

Presenting the items, the President, Ado-Ekiti Central Lions Club District 404-B2 Nigeria, Lion Princess Aderonke Ologunde said the decision was out of her resolve to make various health centres in Ekiti State conducive for patients.

Princess Ologunde explained that many of the Basic and Primary Health Centres in the state do not have bedspreads, hence the need for the Lions Club to make the donation.

She urged the benefiting Health Centres to make good use of the bedspreads in order to attract another opportunity to them.

Also Speaking, a former President of the Lions Club in Ekiti State, Lion Chief Taiwo Odebunmi took time to educate the members of staff of the Health Centres on the services being rendered by the club for the development of humanity.

Chief Odebunmi called on indigenes of Ikere to join Lions Club, in a bid to aid the services of the club in the town.

Responding, the Officer In Charge of Idemo Health Centre, Mrs Funmilayo Olatise and that of Oke-Osun Basic Health Centre, Ikere, Mrs Akomolafe Mary said the presentation of bedspreads met the urgent need of their facilities.

While calling for more assistance to address the needs of the Health Centres, they appreciated Lions Club International for the donation, praying God to reward them abundantly.

Also, one of the patients, Mr. Joel Asana commended the gesture of the club in contributing to the growth of the society.
