Ambassador Dare Bejide, a governorship aspirant on the platform the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has called on Ekiti State residents to participate in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
According to him, this will enable them to exercise their right to vote and contribute to bringing good governance to Ekiti State.
Speaking in Ado Ekiti, Ambassador Bejide emphasized the significance of voter registration in the electoral process, stressing that it provides an opportunity for citizens to have their voices heard in future elections.
He encouraged all eligible residents who have not registered to visit INEC registration centers to obtain their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) and those who have previously registered to update their details if necessary.
The ADC governorship aspirant assured Ekiti residents that the registration process is straightforward and accessible, with INEC having measures in place to ensure a smooth and efficient exercise.
He also called on traditional leaders, community organizations, and civil society groups to support the registration drive by encouraging their members and constituents to register.
