…says only Judiciary can Nullify Declared Winner

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Governorship Candidate of Adamawa state, Aisha Binani Dahiru, has seek for judiciary judgement against the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC for nullifying her declaration as the winner of the state governorship elections.
This was obtained in exparte application by the APC candidate Binani, through her lawyers led by, Hussaini Zakariyau, SAN, they prayed that the court gives order to stop INEC from further opposing the declaration until the determination of her application for judicial review.
According to her argument, INEC has no power to nullify the declaration of a candidate as winner of an election, only election tribunal can.
