The Chairman, Civil Society in Malaria Control, Immunization and Nutrition, ACOMIN, in Ekiti State, Sir Olu Ogunrotimi, said ACOMIN has started working on the concept note that is being developed for Grant Cycle 7 towards the eradication of malaria in the country.
ACOMIN is the civil society network representing civil society organizations on malaria interventions in Nigeria through Global Fund processes and the CCM, including grant making processes.
The ACOMIN State Chair stated this at a one-day State Level Meeting in Ado-Ekiti, on Wednesday.
The gathering which was to reach a consensus on the priorities listed for the various thematic area had representatives of the CSOs, community leaders, religion leaders, and the media.
Stakeholders at the event including traditional Leader, CSOs, Religious Leader, the Media all reached a consensus.
Also, the Executive Director, Centre for Better Health and Community Development, Prof. Oluwadare Christopher appreciated the efforts of ACOMIN by getting inputs from all groups, CSOs, youths, community people.
In the same vein, a Traditional Leader, Okunola Dele commended the activity of the organization and promised to support the programme while a Religious Leader Pastor Mrs Adeusi Alice said she was going to become a better advocate.
