Accept Defeat in Good Faith, Hon. Ibrahim Tells Opponent Akinlayo Kolawole

A former aide to President Bola Tinubu and aspirant for Ekiti North Federal Constituency II, Ibrahim Olarewaju, has said his recent endorsement by party leaders was not sponsored but reflected the genuine desire of the people.

Olarewaju expressed confidence in securing the APC ticket ahead of the 2027 general elections and promised to attract more federal presence to his constituency.

He said his track record, loyalty to the APC, and strong connections within the party put him in a favourable position to win the primary.

Speaking in Ado-Ekiti, the aspirant said he remained committed to the growth of the APC and had contributed significantly to the party’s successes at the grassroots over the years.

He added that his relationship with party leaders and members across the constituency would further strengthen his aspiration.

“I am confident of securing the APC ticket because of my track record, commitment to the party, and the support I enjoy from members and leaders across the constituency,” he said.

Olarewaju also pledged to provide quality representation if elected to the House of Representatives. He said his focus would be on youth empowerment, infrastructure development, education, and improved welfare for constituents.

“If elected, I will ensure quality representation by making the interests of the people my priority and facilitating projects and opportunities that will positively impact their lives,” he added.
